Privacy policy

What we collect

If you only read this site, we collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). If you use the quote form, we collect what you enter: your ZIP code and state, answers about your home (ownership, size, entrances, existing system, installation preferences, timing), and, if you complete the form, your name, street address, city, email address, and phone number. We also record your IP address, browser user agent, the page you submitted from, how long you spent on the form, and a lead-verification token (see below).

How we use it

Quote-form information is collected for one purpose: to connect you with home security providers who can quote your home. When you submit the form with consent, we transmit your information to our lead marketplace and the participating providers listed on our marketing partners page, who may contact you by phone, text, and email about home security offers.

Lead verification

The quote form may use Jornaya LeadiD, an independent consent-verification service that records proof that you saw and agreed to the consent language on the form. This produces a token we pass along with your request.

What we do not do

We do not sell reader browsing data, and we do not share quote-form information with anyone other than the marketplace and providers described above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your choices

Submitting the quote form is entirely optional, and consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can revoke marketing consent with any provider directly, or contact us at privacy@homesecurityradar.com to request access to or deletion of the information you submitted. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia) may exercise their access, correction, and deletion rights through the same address.
